It is beautiful placed in festively decorated houses, or on the table of Christmas dinner. The Christmas star is a timeless gift, which everyone likes and has always represented the magic of the most beloved time of the year. In the language of flowers, the Christmas star embodies serenity, abundance, but also humility.

Why is it given as a gift at Christmas?

Thanks to the ancient Mexican legend of Pepita, a child so poor that she had nothing to offer Jesus for Christmas Eve. To help her, an angel advised her to collect some brushwood. Once she entered the Church, the brambles became beautiful red stars.

How to cure it?

The Poinsettia needs little water: it should be watered when the soil is almost dry, being very careful not to create stagnant water and not to wet the leaves. After parties, it can be kept in the garden, but in a shaded area, without direct contact with the sun.
